Starboard Freeride 150 and a Evolution Freeride foil with a Tushingham Bolt 5.75.

Woke to another sunny day with light winds to start so Mag and I headed over to Lidl to shop and were home in 30 minutes! Next job try and sort out my GT-31 gps which was not recognizing the sd card, I put some of Mags glasses cleaner on the conection plates inserted in the gps and pushed it back and forth and it actually cleaned the connection point inside the gps so I could then transfer the data to the card:) The wind was till marginal at best but a fresh breeze was forecast again so I headed down to Squiz Lane parking easily now, Mag came down for her daily walk as I set up my foil board, sail choice was the next problem, it was gusting 16 knots from the south and with it expected to increase I rigged my new Tushingham Bolt 5.75 for the first time, it looked lovely just like new! Shortie on I launched and was under, wishing I had rigged my 6.5 but I did manage to pump up onto the foil and had four really good long, 2 mile plus runs out to sea to sunshine over a pretty smooth sea, just brilliant mellow sailing, brilliant fun it was. I was setting off on another run when the breze dropped, I then saw a huge dark cloud approaching so I decided it best to head back to the beach. I got a great pic as the huge black cloud reached The Fludyers and where it was raining but luckily not on me! When that had cleared the wind picked up to over 20 knots and as this was my 4th session in a row I decided to call it a day. I packed up and headed for home, a snack lunch, sent some pics to the TV weather before we walked around our old friend Mary for a cuppa and chat. The rain arrived in time for us to get damp on the walk home!

PS – I was surprised to get a pic on the lunchtime Look East which I actually took on the 26th August!

PPS - forgot to say I spotted a porpoise today:)
